THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Words cannot express our gratitude to all of our volunteers who made our picnic possible and the ones who supported it. Many hours of labor are needed for a successful event! As you know, the Picnic is the major contributor to our overall Parish budget. It is the one event, which needed and deserved the support of all of our Parishioners!
ATTENTION 2009 First Communicants
If you would like to purchase a DVD of your child's First Communion, we have some available at the Parish Office. The cost is $20 per DVD, make check payable to St. Aloysius. Any questions, please contact Michele Fussenegger, 645-9384 or mfussenegger@mindspring.com.

PARISH COUNCIL UPDATE
Hello, my name is Mike Wheatley and on July 1st, 2009 I will be the Parish Council Chair until June 30th 2010. I have been on the Parish Council for the past year serving a 3 year term. My family of four includes my wife of 9 years, Melissa, 3 1/2 year old daughter, Claire, and my 7 month old son Graham. We were married at the Ursuline Chapel on the Sacred Heart Campus. I am currently the Usher Coordinator, a greeter and picnic volunteer. My wife is a Eucharistic Minister and involved in the Mom’s Group. We are working towards becoming a sponsor couple for marriage preparation. I look forward to my term as Council Chair serving St. Aloysius parish spiritually through the mission of Christ and the Church.

I would like to thank Ray Dickison for the smooth transition to this position. Ray has done a tremendous job over the last year as council chair. Our transition has been smooth due to his guidance and support. In addition, I want to thank the current council for my election and I look forward to serving with such a talented group of individuals. Being surrounded with such diverse knowledge and talent will make my time as chair in the pursuit of excellence for St. Aloysius very attainable and enjoyable. God Bless, Mike Wheatley

Let the Children come to Me…
During the summer months please consider bringing your children to Adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Every Tuesday during June and July we have designated the 10 o’clock hour as a special hour for children to Adore. If the 10 o’clock hour doesn’t work for you please know that children are welcome at any time. During the summer instead of taking a vacation from our Lord, take this time to teach your children a solid Catholic tradition of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
FRAMERS NEEDED
The school, with the generous help of the Men's Club, is in the process of framing St. Aloysius sports jerseys for display in local restaurants and businesses. If you or your company has any talent or connections in this area we would greatly appreciate your help. Please contact Maryann Hayslip at 241-8516 or mhayslip@staloysiuspwv.org for more information or to volunteer.

Gift Bearers Needed
If you would like to volunteer for the Gift Bearers Ministry please contact Rita Brasler at 243-2813.

You can sign up as a single person or a family of any size. Please feel free to request special dates to commemorate a birthday, anniversary or a special intention.
