begins on September 7, 9:30am until 10:45am. Registration forms have been mailed to returning families and need to be returned ASAP. Sunday School Registration
Sunday school registration will take place after 11:00 Mass today. This is for the 3, 4 and 5 year-olds who have not started kindergarten. Sunday school will begin September 7 and takes place during the Sunday 11:00 Mass. A $10 registration fee will be collected with the registration form. Forms are also available in the parish office. BIBLE STUDY
On Thursday, September 11, at 7:00 p.m. Deacon Tom Roth will begin the Great Adventure Bible Timeline study by Jeff Cavins. This video series helps us to understand the “big picture” of God’s plan of salvation. Join us on this journey to answer the questions we all have about the people, places and events of the Bible. WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS
Archbishop Joseph Kurtz warmly invites couples celebrating their 30th, 40th, 50th, & 60th or more wedding anniversary in 2008 to join others in the Archdiocese for a Mass of Thanksgiving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 So. Fifth Street on Sunday, October 19 at 2:30 p.m. Family members are also invited to the celebration. Each couple celebrating will receive a certificate commemorating the occasion. Registration is required. Call your Parish Office to register. Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 1. An ASL interpreter is available on request. |

11th Annual St. Aloysius Arts and Crafts Show
The St. Aloysius Women's Club and St. Aloysius School Arts Program are pleased to announce its 11th Annual Arts and Crafts Show. The proceeds will benefit the school arts departments.

We are looking for artists and craft persons who are interested in applying for booth space. In collaboration with the Pewee Valley Woman's Club, this will be a highly publicized event with over 100 artists and crafts persons. We always expect a great turn out! In an effort to keep a wide variety of quality hand-made arts and crafts, we are asking that each applicant include photos and a description of their work. Please include a SASE and your photos will be returned to you; or you may pick up your photos the morning of the show at the check-in area. The Women's Club reserves the right to reject ANY booth deemed inappropriate.

Nursery
There is a nursery available during the 11:00 Sunday Mass. It is available for walkers up to age 3. It is located in the small building in between the school and the Chapel. Special Announcement!!!
We are pleased to announce that St Aloysius now has a system in place for those who are hearing challenged. We have tested it with several parishioners over the past few weeks and found that it is a wonderful assistance to those of us who have trouble hearing everything that is spoken or sung. Please contact one of the ushers at Mass when you arrive to assist you. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our usher coordinator, Ted Luckett, 245-9515. If you would like to purchase your own personal headset, the cost will be $99 each. |
